My Disney's Magic Kingdom Park experience

Since my childhood I had this dream to go to Disney's Magic Kingdom and meet Mickey and Minnie but I went there very late, when I'm a kid no more.
So basically it's a kids theme park but adults can enjoy there too.
So when I visited it, all my childhood memories came back and I was a kid again.
We tried almost all the rides and they were great fun.
So if you have kids, take them to Disney Magic Kingdom but if you don't have kids then go to Universal Parks.
I've been to Universal Parks too. So I'll post those pictures in my next post.

My trip to Qutub Minar or कुतब मिनार

Sorry, I have this really bad picture of Qutub Minar from my cell phone.
Visited it 6 years back. So thought of sharing it.
It's one of my favorite places because I've read about it so many times in my history books.
Qutub Minar is in Delhi, India. It's made of marble and red sand stone.
It's the second tallest minar in India.
So if you go to Delhi, the Capital of India, and you like monuments then it's a must watch.

One day trip to Statue of Liberty

Okay, so these are the pics from my one day trip to the Statue of Liberty.
I don't know, some people find it very exciting but for me it's just a statue because I see it so often. I really wanted to go inside the crown but it was closed at that time. So it's worth if you book the tickets in advance and go for the crown too.
I saw Ellis Island museum too and a movie which showed the history of the island. It was good.

There are some fun facts related to the Statue of Liberty. Few of them are:

  1. It's a gift from France to America
  2. Liberty Enlightening the World is actually the full name of Statue of Liberty.
  3. Statue of Liberty is female and it represents Libertas, who is the Roman goddess of freedom.
  4. Statue is made of copper.
  5. You can find a numerous replicas of it. Two of them are in Paris and Las Vegas.

Trip to Rhode Island

I have been to Newport, Rhode Island twice. First time was quick but the second time was fun because we actually spent some time there and the weather was good too. We walked on the "Cliff Walk" till the end. That was quite a lot because it's stretched a few miles along the edge of the water. The view is spectacular and you can see huge mansions along the way.
We visited two Mansions there. One was The Breakers, the other one, I don't remember the name, maybe Marble House. It was a jaw dropping experience with a self guided tour.
Then we drove on the Ocean Drive, which was good too.
We also saw Castle Hill Lighthouse which was gorgeous. There was kind of a secret passage to go to Castle Hill Lighthouse from Castle Hill Inn parking and there was a short hike to the lighthouse. I took amazing pictures there.
So overall Rhode Island was a lot of fun.
